Device installation is simple and consists in bringing a derivation wire from the injection computer inside the cabin, positioning the device and supply the power.

Wait for cooling the engine before installing the device !
With the engine off, wait 3 minutes before the car battery to separate, + terminal.

1. Identification of a free wire from engine compartment fuses up to the cabin.

For cars without the alarm system there are 4 free wires leading from the engine fuses box till the fuses inside cabin. White-Yellow-Green-Purple.

- Disassemble the protective casing of the fuses from the engine.
- Identify the 4 free wires in the engine and cabin.
- Choose a free wire and check with a device for measuring to make sure the wire is in good condition.
- We will use this wire as a signal derivation from injection computer till the device.
- Since the wire is too short and we could not reach the wire from injection computer will have to solder extension till injection computer wire.
3. Decide where you install the device in the cabin.

Choose the mounting location to be safe from the outside and can not touch metal parts or moving parts such as steering column, pedals ...
Careful not to point the device or LED's in front of a AIRBAG!
If possible fix the metal radiator on a metallic structure to have better cooling.

Identify a point in body mass or in the electric circuit and connect the GND wire from the device to that point. Check with the measuring device - Battery !
Pay attention that this wire will be fitted very well so can not loose in time or accidentally.

Solder derivation wire coming from the injection computer to the signal wire of the device. Insulate the wire very well so will be protected !

Identify the fuse for cigarette lighter and solder the device Vcc wire. Attention soldering wire must be on the part where there is no tension if the fuse burns - at C5-II is in the top part -.
Check with your measurement tool !
4. Connect car battery. Check the installation operation.

If your injection computer send signal and DPF / FAP temperature is <200 C yellow LED will be ON.
If there is no signal from the injection computer then LED will flash one by one.

Normally after coupling the battery yellow LED will be ON and in a few seconds, injection computer will go to stand by and LED's will start to flash.

2. Installing a derivation on the wire that comes from the DPF / FAP temperature sensor to the injection computer:

- Identify the DPF / FAP filter temperature sensor according to photo.
- Identify the plug connector and uncouple.
- Identify appropriate color of Pinn 1. - At C5-II it has the yellow color.

- Disassemble the plastic casing from the injection computer.
- Identify the wire that comes from the temperature sensor to the injection computer, it must have the same color as the pinn 1 from the connector.
To be sure the wire is correct, you can use a fine needle and easily puncture the insulation use a device for measuring check if is the same wire.
- Be sure 100% you have verified that is the correct wire.

- With great care carefully cut a small part from insulation (~ 5 mm) and solder the derivation wire that will lead the signal in the cabin. Pay attention and do not cut the wire !
- Carefully isolate so water and moisture can not penetrate.
- Solder the other end of the extension to the wire previously identified that go in the cabin.
- Isolate carefully so water / moisture will not penetrate.

- Arrange wires in plastic housing.
- Assemble the plastic casing for the computer injection, and fix in position.
- Assembled the protective casing of the engine fuses.

- Check again that the derivation made it is correct: check pin 1 from connector to match the wire inside car.
- Assembled plug connector from the DPF / FAP filter temperature sensor.
